Three Years

This was the first picture that Michal & I ever took together...

... and this is the last picture that we took of us together.

The first picture was taken in 2004.  It was my first time at Michal's apartment.  He & his roommates had a little problem with fruit-flies.  So Michal & I decided to try and "fix" this problem by lathering up our hands with shaving cream and catching them in the foam.  I laughed and laughed and laughed, and thought to myself, "Who is this guy?  I need to get to know him better."

I am sure glad I got to know him better.

The last picture taken was on Saturday (May 5, 2012).  We were loosing our lighting for pictures and this was the last picture that we were able to take before it became too dark to take anymore.  Michal & I were winding down from our 10 day vacation throughout 5 countries in Europe.  Amsterdam was our last stop before heading home the next day.  

In between this two pictures has been lots of memories, lots of experiences, and lots of adventures.

I am one lucky woman.

Thanks for a great 3 years!  You are such an amazing soul mate and such an astounding individual.  I love when you make me laugh.  I love when you surprise me.  I love your quirks and your ludicrous passions for such bizarre, outlandish things.  I love the adventures we take together.  I love being able to lean on you for support.  I love sharing your wanderlust with you.  I love getting to know you better.  I love how you treat others.  I love how you make me want to be a better person.
