Things I don't want to forget - 6 months

Six months is a time full of firsts for you!

When you turned six months I discovered sink sitting!  I never used it before because we lived in a shady apartment when you were old enough to sit up by yourself.
In fact, when I told the doctor at your six month appointment that you were sitting up on your own, and pushing yourself up from the floor to a sitting position - she couldn't believe it.  She said that this shouldn't happen for another month or so.  But, I'm not surprised, you are an amazing little girl.
At around 5 or 6 months you went crazy with kissing people.  Grammy called it the Ninja Baby because you would just attack when you would kiss people.
It was your first time on an airplane (and you were SO good)!
It was the first time you experienced wind (you just would turn and open your mouth trying to catch the wind).
It was the first time you went swimming with me.
It was the first time we put you in shoes.
but even though we put you in shoes, you still preferred standing on your tippie toes.
You finally started loving books and loving when we read to you.
You just want to turn the pages and help out.
Speaking of helping out, you still continue to want to do whatever we are doing.  It doesn't matter what we are doing, you just want to be doing it also!
Singing in church

Whenever we go to the store, we put you in the toys at the store and you are such a happy baby.
(still like to stand on your tippie, tippie toes)

Wearing hats with daddy.
Or wearing Daddy's Hats (while helping Mommy unpack)!

And we haven't quite gotten used to feeding you baby food because more ends up on you, than in your tummy.
But you still have a fascination for tags...

 ... and driving ...
 ... bath time...
(I love the pose of your food on the faucet in this picture).

But I think that the biggest achievement of this month was that you started crawling (and on the same day started pushing yourself up like seen in the pictures below).

Even when I have zero energy, you still find ways to make me smile by trying to attack me with one of your kisses!
